This steam machine is using the principle of thermal expansion to clean without chemicals. Admittedly, the bracelet didn't look noticeably brighter in the end, but it had been recently polished.
Down the hall at the conference, water treatment company Heisler Green touted its new CoolGreen products. The company bills the chemicals as the first eco-friendly, industrial water treatment technology, designed to reduce water usage by 80 percent. The biodegradable additive, a blend of polymers, has the opposite effect of phosphate cleansers, which encourage algae to bloom.
CoolGreen can be used in factories that require water cooling in nearly any industry, including power plants and air conditioning equipment. Cooling systems make up the overwhelming majority of water used by U.S. industries.
