Photos: A future in bioplastics

Addiflex is a new material that enables bioplastic packaging to break down in dirt, leaving only carbon dioxide, water, and plant products. The nontoxic, biodegradable ingredient from Add-X Biotech, a Swedish company, is also safe for use in food packaging.
