This copper bracelet from the 1930s might normally be cleaned with a commercial jewelry cleaner containing noxious chemicals. Instead, this red steam machine will blast off the dirt. Sanitech, which has used similar processes to sanitize food-processing plants, demonstrated the process at the Green Manufacturing Expo.
The company has been around for a few decades but is now starting to market the eco-friendly aspect of its business. Steam can be used to clean all sorts of industrial plants and also could be used at home for bathrooms and kitchens.
