Version: Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4
Pros: Faster than IE... by at least a factor of 2 :) Has all the things I need and keeps what I don't to a minimum. Interface is great...
Cons: Seems to need a bit of tricking out to get toolbars and the like to work with it, sometimes doesn't offer the option of remembering passwords when it should, but those are minor things... A+ :)
Summary: Get this product if you like fast web browsing. IE is a Model T compared to it; the former has feature creep from hell, whereas FF is like Nav from old :) read more

"Fast, flexable browser once you get it loaded."
Pros: Once loaded, it runs faster then IE7. There's some great addons for it that put IE to shame.
Cons: Newest version, 3.0.4, takes far, far longer to load than older versions. It takes about 30 seconds to load; older versions took just 6 or 7 seconds. Mozilla needs to fix this problem real fast. The long load time is frustrating a lot of people.
Summary: Bottom line: if you haven't upgraded to ver. 3.0.4, DON'T! Wait until 3.0.5 comes out and see if the long load time has been eliminated, and if so, then update. If not, stick with an older version. Also check forums about crashes some people are h... read more

"A very fine browser..... but looking forward to FF3.1"
Pros: - Fast at page rendering
- Massive number of add-ons allow you to customize Firefox to the max.
- Improved memory management over version 2.x
- Security features
- It's a fun browser to useCons: - I had some stability issues when I initially installed FF3, however for the past month it has been extremely stable.
- Firefox program opens slower if, as on my computer, it is ladened with lots of extensions.
