Linear measurement conversion is effortless using this handy application. Designed as an aide for garment makers, it has a calculator interface with predefined fractional buttons and a results screen. Pattern-Making Calculator converts decimal input to fraction and vice versa, though it accommodates only up to thirteen digits. Input can be pasted into the application. The fraction to decimal conversion is accurate. However, the decimal to fraction conversion is not exact as it converts the decimal figures to the nearest 1/32th. This application also converts inches and centimeters. It quickly calculates the radius of the inner circle from a given perimeter using four tool-tipped, direct-conversion buttons. We are disappointed to find the help file is only available online. This freeware will be of great help to all users with a need to convert and calculate fractional measurements.
